Why Highway Advocacy Efforts Matter 

Each year, more than 40,000 lives are lost in highway traffic accidents. At Gregory Highway, we’re committed to doing everything we can to prevent fatal collisions because we realize each number represents a life and a loved one.  

At Gregory Highway, we recognize the inherent sense of responsibility that comes with the legacy of a five-generation family business. This understanding extends to our corporate commitments as well. As a result, we are fully committed to actively contributing to advocacy efforts in the transportation industry.   

Our Advocacy Partners  

ATSSA (American Traffic Safety Services Association)  

Over the past 25 years, we have worked to establish a strong partnership with ATSSA, the American Traffic Safety Services Association, to drive advocacy initiatives centered around highway safety. Our collaboration with ATSSA shows our commitment to prioritize safety in response to our corporate responsibility.  

Together, we have consistently supported their crucial work in advocating for policies such as the IIJA- Infrastructure Act, which plays a vital role in enhancing the safety and security of our highways. By aligning our efforts with ATSSA, Gregory Highway continues to demonstrate our dedication to ensuring the well-being of highway workers and drivers alike, to work toward creating safer transportation systems for all. 

Transportation Research Board  

We stay at the forefront of the advocacy efforts for highway and auto safety by attending the Transportation Research Board each January. Our attendance gives us the opportunity to understand new industry requirements and allows us to offer innovative ideas and solutions that prioritize safety and reliability at every turn.
