Product Spotlight: MASH Sequential Kinking Terminal (MSKT)

We’re proud to spotlight the MASH Sequential Kinking Terminal (MSKT) from Road Systems, Inc. (RSI), a cutting-edge, energy-absorbing tangent guardrail terminal that elevates safety at W-beam guardrail ends. As a trusted distributor, we’re excited to bring this MASH Test Level 2 (TL-2) and Test Level 3 (TL-3) compliant system to our customers, building on the legacy of RSI’s NCHRP 350-compliant SKT with unmatched innovation.

The TL-3 MSKT spans nearly 50’0 and is designed to align parallel to the roadway, eliminating the need for extensive grading or earthworks compared to flared terminals. In head-on impacts, its impact head slides over the W-beam guardrail, sequentially kinking the rail to absorb energy and safely stop vehicles. For side impacts within the length-of-need, it performs like standard guardrail, redirecting errant vehicles with precision.
